2026 Fall/Winter Funding Application Deadline: July 15

Hola, Comunidad de Artistas,

We want to share some important updates to La Sala’s funding process. As our work grows, we’ve made changes to ensure the program remains fair, transparent, and sustainable for our organization and Latine/x artists across Washington State. Our funding program is now called the Community Investment Fund, and with the new name come several structural updates to keep in mind as you plan your events.

What’s Changing

  • We now review proposals only twice a year.

    • Rolling applications will no longer accepted, so please plan your timelines around the two annual cycles.

  • Applicants must not have received La Sala funding within the past two calendar years.

    • Limited exceptions may be made for long‑standing festivals or recurring partnerships in good standing.

  • A brief event report is required within four weeks after your event to remain in good standing.

    • This includes attendance numbers, the number of Latine/x artists directly supported by our funds, proof of acknowledgment of La Sala and our sponsors, and any promotional materials, etc. We are required to share this information to our donors and funders.

A Quick Reminder

The Community Investment Fund continues to support Latine/x artists, creative workers, and arts groups across Washington State, with a focus on ensuring artists are paid a living wage. Thank you for the work you do and for being part of this amazing community!
